Hi, I’m Or, co-founder and lead trainer at Pacific K9.

Pacific K9 is a family-owned business, built alongside my wife, out of a shared passion for dogs and creating real, lasting change for both dogs and their owners. What started as a passion quickly became a lifelong profession and today, it’s the foundation of everything we do.

My journey with dogs began over 15 years ago, training dogs as a teenager and immersing myself in hands-on, real world work from an early age. That foundation later evolved into serving in an elite combat K9 unit in the military, where precision, reliability, and control weren’t optional, they were critical. That experience shaped the way I train to this day: calm, clear, structured, and purposeful.

Beyond military work, I spent years training, competing, and mentoring in high-level Schutzhund sport, gaining deep expertise in obedience, protection, drive development, and handler-dog communication. I’ve worked with dogs across every spectrum; from high-drive working dogs to complex behavioral cases, always with an emphasis on balance, clarity, and control.

Over the years, my work has taken me around the world, training and handling dogs in multiple countries. I’ve worked with high-profile protection and police K9 programs, security dogs, and personal protection dogs internationally. I’ve also trained dogs for celebrities, influencers, and high-ranking entrepreneurs in Los Angeles, CA.

At Pacific K9, my approach is simple but intentional: clear communication, fair structure, and real-world results. I specialize in obedience, off-leash reliability, behavioral modification, and aggression rehabilitation, but what matters most to me is producing dogs that can confidently navigate real life, not just perform commands in controlled environments.

Every dog I work with is treated as an individual. There are no shortcuts and no one-size-fits-all programs. I take the time to understand the dog, the owner, and their lifestyle whether that means a calm family companion, a reliable off-leash dog in public, or a powerful yet stable protection dog.
